Platelet is a data analysis tool for microplate biology experiments. It is intended for experimental data only — plate maps, readings, and derived features. You are responsible for what you upload.

Prohibited data

You may not upload data that contains protected health information (PHI), patient identifiers, or any other personally identifiable human-subject data. This includes, but is not limited to, patient names, medical record numbers, dates of birth, contact information, or any other data that could be used to identify a human research subject.

Platelet is built for experimental lab data and is not designed, configured, or covered by agreements necessary to store or process regulated health data (including data subject to HIPAA or comparable regulations). Do not upload any data prohibited by applicable law or your institution's data handling policies.

Your responsibility

Before uploading, you confirm that your data does not contain any of the prohibited data described above. This acknowledgment is required each time you upload data through the platform.

If we become aware that prohibited data has been uploaded, we will remove it and may suspend the associated account.
